What lies behind the seemingly baroque façades of the Humboldt Forum?

This guided tour offers a compact introduction for anyone visiting the Humboldt Forum for the first time or looking to get better oriented.

In just 60 minutes, the tour leads through key areas in and around the building – from the Schlüter Courtyard and the spacious foyer to the impressive staircase hall featuring architectural art. At these stops, visitors gain insight into how the building is structured and which themes shape it: from global interconnections and colonial history to cultural heritage and current societal issues such as identity, sustainability, and responsibility.

Those who wish to delve deeper afterwards can explore the exhibitions in the Humboldt Forum individually with an additional ticket. Thematic guided tours also offer further insights into the content of the Forum.

In the Humboldt Forum's foyer there is a 17 meter high media tower, called "cosmograph". It gives visitors comprehensive information about their visit and can transform into an art and light installation.
