Poet Logan February, who is currently a fellow at the Humboldt Forum, will work with Berlin-based lyricist Regina Riveros to showcase a connection and solidarity between the poetic language cultures of Africa and Latin America – and a resonant finale to the diverse music that the festival offers.

Logan February is a poet and multidisciplinary artist from Nigeria whose work explores desire, psychospirituality, and Afro-queer identity. They are the author of In The Nude (Ouida Poetry, 2019), Mental Voodoo (Poesie Dekolonie/Engeler Verlag, 2024) and the forthcoming Nude Imperative (Spector Books, 2025). Their poetry film, Thrall, was an official selection at the 2025 ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival. February received the Future Awards Africa Prize for Literature and has been a fellow of the DAAD Berliner-Künstlerprogramm and a poet-in-residence at the Humboldt Forum.

Regina Riveros (Caracas, Venezuela – 1986) is a social psychologist, poet & performer based in Berlin. She develops her performances and poetry based on her bodywork and psychosomatic practices. She published the book Tejido Cardíaco (Heart Tissue) in 2024 (LUPI publishing house) and organizes the poetry and performance series, Probador de Poesías, since 2022 in Berlin.
