Emotions and families, relationship networks in families, kinship, and other constellations are the focus of the educational program for the temporary exhibition Family Matters. In the training course, playful and interactive approaches for daycare and elementary school children are tried out at stations throughout the exhibition and materials and methods of inquiry-based learning are presented. Using still images, role-play, and movement, educators present the methods of theater education developed for students in 7th grade and above to reflect on them in relation to the various themes of the exhibition: language, memories of moments of transition and global family histories.
