Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez shares insights from her practice as a systemic constellations facilitator and answers your questions.

The family we grew up in has shaped us in profound ways. Many of these influences can continue to operate beneath the surface. Family constellation work attempts to make unconscious patterns, entanglements, and dynamics within a family system visible. The method is based on the idea that family entanglements extend across time and generations, and that they bear partial responsibility for our personal struggles and conflicts. By arranging family members or significant themes in space, these dynamics become visible – and can be worked with.

How does it actually work? What can the method achieve – and what are its limits? And what does it really mean to understand a family as a “system”?

Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez is a Berlin-based artist working across sculpture, installation, sound, and performance. Her research-driven practice explores how technological and societal systems inscribe themselves into bodies, materials, and landscapes – often through processes of transformation and decay. Alongside her artistic work, she has trained in somatic bodywork. These practices extend her work into experiential and process-based forms, shaping her approach to embodiment, perception, and relational structures. She sees constellation work as an open, unfinished process – and emphasises that the system in question need not be the family.

Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez will be answering your questions about family constellations at the Humboldt Forum. A Consultation Hour for everyone – free of charge, no appointment or waiting time.
