When it comes to health on television, he is often in front of the camera: Eckart von Hirschhausen, doctor, comedian, and host. Recently, in the film “Das große Vergessen”, he explored Alzheimer’s disease. His books “Die Leber wächst mit ihren Aufgaben” and “Glück kommt selten allein” made him the most successful non-fiction author in 2008 and 2009. Other works, such as “Wohin geht die Liebe, wenn sie durch den Magen durch ist” and “Wunder wirken Wunder”, were also bestsellers. Eckart von Hirschhausen is particularly committed to climate protection and sustainability. Why he considers climate change to be the greatest health threat of the 21st century, and how it came about that the Russian Tsar granted his ancestors a noble title, these are questions we will ask him on the program.
