Nikolaus Blome is one of the country’s most prominent liberal-conservative journalists.

Since 2020, he has been head of the politics department at RTL and n-tv.

Born in 1963, his previous positions include roles on the editorial boards of WELT, BILD and SPIEGEL.

For many years, he engaged in political debates with journalist and publisher Jakob Augstein on the TV programme ‘Augstein und Blome’.

As a commentator, Nikolaus Blome is a sought-after guest on talk shows and regularly appears on political talk shows.

The journalist has received numerous awards for his work, including the Theodor Wolff Prize and the Henri Nannen Prize.

He is also an author. His most recent publication is ‘Falsche Wahrheiten: 12 linke Glaubenssätze, die unser Land in die Irre führen’.
