As a forum for all people, the Humboldt Forum aims to stimulate discussion around existential questions that people have asked themselves at all times and in all cultures.
To this end, our social media channels provide a space for exchange and debate, and we would like to inspire everyone to share their ideas, their stories and their opinions with us. In order to ensure that this exchange is a positive experience for all involved, we would ask our online community to observe the following rules.
Protect your privacy
Please do not share any private information – either about yourself or third parties. We will remove any posts containing sensitive information about yourself or others – address, email address, phone number etc.
Stay on topic
We welcome discussions of any kind – provided they are held in the right place. Please always comment below the post which best fits the content of your own post, and do not repeat the same message in other contexts. Posts with no relevance to the subject currently under discussion may be removed.
Everyone expresses their own opinions
Opinions expressed by our fans and followers are not necessarily those of the Humboldt Forum. Likewise, the opinions of our employees and partners do not necessarily represent the views of the Humboldt Forum.
Respect others’ opinions
Please avoid posting spiteful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or offensive comments, photos or videos, or posts which attack other people in the discussion. Posts of this sort may be deleted. Racist and xenophobic comments will not be tolerated, and will result in you being blocked.
No advertising
Please avoid posts which advertise yourself or others. We will remove all links, images and videos advertising people or third party products or services.
Do not infringe the intellectual property of third parties
Please do not post any protected content of which you are not the legal owner. We will remove any logos, graphics, text, images and videos where we detect an infringement of copyright.
How to contact us
We monitor our channels from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm (excluding German public holidays). We try to respond to all requests promptly, but please be aware that the response time may vary depending on the request.
