Who are the curators behind the exhibitions? What stories and objects have they chosen for the presentation? And what connections can the young people at BERLIN GLOBAL make to their own lives? On three project days, the young people explore the Berlin exhibition at the Humboldt Forum and take a critical look at it. They select their favourite objects and stories, but also define empty spaces. In this way, they learn about the tasks and challenges of curators in a very practical way. Based on their personal attitudes towards the exhibition and accompanied by mentors for junior curators, the young people create a joint exhibition journal with photographs and reviews they have taken themselves. The journal will be produced in duplicate – for the class and for display in the WELTSTUDIO.
