Berlin’s history has emerged in a world context and continues to be written in the present through globalisation and worldwide networking. Global citizenship and joint commitment play just as important a role as the increasing inequality between the global North and the global South. Along the exhibition aspects “Revolution”, “Borders” and “Fashion”, the pupils learn more about Berlin’s interconnections with the world yesterday and today. Afterwards, they reflect on their personal experiences in the global context in the WELTSTUDIO and formulate wishes and hopes for their future. In the process, they will sit in tandem opposite each other and create their own posters that creatively visualise the students’ locations in the world.
