Nhé’ẽ are circular conversations where knowledge, experiences, and perspectives are shared. The term comes from the Guarani language and can mean the word, the voice, and language, but also the spirit. In this sense, speaking is more than the exchange of information: it creates relationships and connects people with one another.

The Nhé’ẽ create a space where artists, researchers, curators, and audiences come together. Everyone is invited to listen, ask questions, and contribute their own thoughts. Participants rotate throughout the conversations, with new voices joining and others making space in an ongoing process of exchange.

A 360° video projection provides the setting for this living conversation. Surrounding participants with images and stories, it opens up new perspectives and ways of seeing and relating to one another.

The Nhé’ẽ are moderated by Carolina Chimoy and Lien Heidenreich-Seleme.
