Alogte Oho is part of the dynamic Frafra gospel scene in northern Ghana. He is accompanied by the “Sounds of Joy” a powerful female choir consisting of Lizzy Amaliyenga, Patricia Adongo and Florence Adooni – all fantastic gospel singers.

Born to a Frafra father and an Akim mother, Alogte Oho grew up in the verdant south of Ghana before moving as a boy to Frafra land, the savannah of northern Ghana. At thirteen, he joined the church choir, whose energy and spirituality deeply impressed him as a child, and gained his first experience with professional studio recording.

In 2013, Oho met German producer Max Weissenfeldt with whom he recorded the internationally acclaimed album Mam Yinne Wa.
