“This is mine” and “This is yours”—that’s easy to say! But what does “This is ours” look like? How do ownership and inheritance shape future opportunities? What does it mean when natural resources become rarer and calls for a more equitable distribution grow louder? What do we mean by culture, and what do we want to remember and pass on?
The world is shaped by struggles over distribution, and questions of ownership and heritage are central. The exhibitions in the “Mine. Yours. Ours!?” program focus invite visitors to rethink ownership, heritage, and the commons from different perspectives. They span a wide range of topics, from water and earth as elements that foster connection, to urban coexistence and cultural appropriation in pop culture, to the handling of cultural heritage in museums.
The guided tour creates space for reflection and discussion about responsibility and participation—and about what transforms “mine” and “yours” into “ours.”
