Lift the lid on how podcasts are made and discover hip hop subculture in freestyle rap jams – young people aged 10 and above can experience all this in our radio workshop. Just dive in no experience needed!

A Rap and Podcast Radio Speech Corner is being created in the Schlüter Courtyard under the direction of radio presenter and artist Giò di Sera. He is bringing artists, friends and the street culture from Kreuzberg’s StreetUniverCity e.V. Society into the Schlüter Courtyard. The material created in the Radio Speech Corner will be broadcast via a listening station within the Schlüter Courtyard and subsequently on multicult.fm.

Street Radio Blaster is a radio and podcast workshop open to young people who want to discover radio for themselves and be a part of the production process. No prior experience is required and visitors are welcome to drop in spontaneously or to join the workshop on a regular basis. With Street Radio Blaster, young people can get a taste of digital radio, podcasts and post-production, presenting and interview techniques.

Giò di Sera has built a music station in the style of a barrel organ and equipped it with the latest technology. The station creates a “speaking tube” to Berlin street life from the past, along with current stories and sounds all about the Humboldt Forum. In addition to their radio workshop, di Sera and his team want to inspire people to discover hip hop subculture through regular freestyle rap jams.

Young people aged 10 and over can become part of the mobile radio community in the Schlüter Courtyard on alternate Saturday afternoons (alternating with Tell me something!). Spontaneous visits are always welcome!
