Let’s meet in the courtyard. This summer, the Schlüterhof will be transformed into a stage.

Over six weeks, the Humboldt Forum warmly invites all Berliners and lovers of art and music to visit our inner courtyard for a series of events. The programme for the main stage focuses on music, presenting performances every Friday and Saturday evening drawn from Berlin’s diverse music scene, along with discussions, performances and video art. Families and young people can enjoy an artistic programme every Saturday, with opportunities to take part in making radio and to listen to stories. Visitors will also discover colourful pop-up architecture, a multimedia installation all about the colonial history of the potato, and delicious food and drink.

Come and see us! Even if the seats for the stage programme are fully booked: There is plenty of space in the Schlüter Courtyard – spontaneous visitors are welcome and admission is free.

With the opening of the Spree balcony, Humboldt Terraces and the Schlüter Courtyard, the Humboldt Forum has created a new space in the city, open to Berlin’s citizens and visitors as a stage and a place to meet. Moreover, the Airing Out – Open Air in the Schlüter Courtyard programme transforms the central courtyard into an open space. Contributions from Berlin’s pop music and avant-garde artists will rub shoulders with community projects, and artistic activities for the whole family will take place alongside an interdisciplinary music programme. Whether you live in Berlin, love culture, criticise the building, or are an artist involved in the event, Airing Out – Open Air in the Schlüter Courtyard offers you an open place to meet, encounter and share ideas. We look forward to welcoming you!
