Five exhibitions, one ticket

With just one ticket, you will have access to our permanent exhibitions and temporary presentations – and you can choose between a one-day, two-day or group ticket for maximum flexibility. All of these ticket options allow you to visit the collections of the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art, BERLIN GLOBAL, as well as other temporary exhibitions. The ticket is also valid for the special exhibition Family Matters with interventions throughout the building and in the Knoblauchhaus Museum in the Nikolaiviertel.

Many areas and programmes are still accessible to you free of charge – including the Humboldt Laboratory with the new exhibition On Water. Water Knowledge in Berlin, the stairwell with Impressions. The Humboldt Brothers, the castle cellar, the sculpture hall, the video panorama and the presentation Traces. Admission remains free of charge for children and young people up to the age of 19 and other eligible persons. You can also attend numerous events and educational programmes without paying admission.

HUMBOLDT FORUM TICKET

One ticket – 5 exhibitions! With just one ticket, you get access to our permanent exhibitions featuring the collections of the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art, the temporary presentations, the special exhibition Family Matters and the Knoblauchhaus Museum in the Nikolaiviertel. All of the above-mentioned exhibitions feature interventions related to the new special exhibition Family Matters.

Ticket options:

• Day ticket 14 EUR / 7 EUR

• Two-day ticket 18 EUR / 9 EUR

• Day group ticket (up to five adults plus children and young people up to the age of 19) 50 EUR

With these ticket options, you can visit the following exhibitions:

• Family Matters (ground floor)

• BERLIN GLOBAL (1st floor)

• Ethnological Museum, Museum of Asian Art and temporary exhibitions (2nd/3rd floor)

• Knoblauchhaus Museum in the Nikolaiviertel

Tickets bought for Monday are valid at the Knoblauchhaus until Thursday of the same week.

DISCOUNTS

Free admission to exhibitions

• Children and young people up to the age of 19

• School pupils and trainees as part of supervised school lessons, provided they are registered as a group for the visit

• University and technical college students as part of courses, provided they are registered as a group

• Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the German Museum Association who identify themselves as such

• Members of the Federal Association for Museum Education

• Holders of a press card

• Persons receiving transfer payments (citizen’s income, social assistance, housing allowance, basic income support, benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act) and Berlin Ticket S holders

• Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons, provided this is noted with a B on the severely disabled person’s ID card

Discounts for exhibitions

50% discount on the standard price for:

• School pupils, students, volunteers, trainees up to the age of 30

• Recipients of ALG I benefits

• Honorary card holders

• Severely disabled persons (at least 50% disability)

All those eligible for discounts mentioned here, except for Ehrenamts-Card holders, have free admission to BERLIN GLOBAL.

    The meeting point for guided tours and the location for workshops can be found on your booking confirmation. In order for the tour to begin punctually, please arrive 15 minutes before the programme is due to start. We ask that you allow for this additional quarter hour when planning your visit.
