Maintenance work

For your planning purposes, we would like to inform you about upcoming maintenance work at the Humboldt Forum, some of which will result in short-term closures of exhibition areas.

Maintenance work will be carried out in various sections.

 

Museum für Asiatische Kunst (3rd floor)

From Monday, 23 March to Friday, 27 March 2026 inclusive and

from Monday, 27 April to Thursday, 30 April 2026 inclusive, the exhibition areas on the 3rd floor will be closed.

 

Ethnologisches Museum (2nd floor)

From Monday, 13 April to Friday, 17 April 2026 inclusive and

from Monday, 20 April to Friday, 24 April 2026 inclusive, the exhibition areas on the 2nd floor will be closed.

 

BERLIN GLOBAL (1st floor)

From Monday, 4 May to Wednesday, 6 May 2026 the exhibition area will be closed.

 

On Water (1st floor)

The On Water exhibition will be closed on Monday, 11.5.2026.

    Visiting an exhibition is only possible with a free time slot ticket booked in advance. You can book tickets online or by phone via +49 30 99 211 89 89 (every day
    10am–6pm CET).

    Ticket information
In the Humboldt Forum's foyer there is a 17 meter high media tower, called "cosmograph". It gives visitors comprehensive information about their visit and can transform into an art and light installation.
