With their ideas and concepts, scholars and pilgrims from Asia have penetrated and changed both their own and the Western world. The caravan routes of the Silk Roads acted as a hinge between Eastern and Western societies, spreading culture, religion, and art. Visitors will learn how East Asian concepts such as tea gathering and porcelain making expanded their sphere of influence.
