In this overview tour, the pupils question the objects about their past and learn about the Ethnologisches Museum and its role in German colonial history. They encounter boats and houses from Oceania and the changeable masks from North America. Contemporary art from Africa such as the installation by Cynthia Schimming enable the young people to deal with colonial racism and sexism.
