This Saturday at the WELTSTUDIO at BERLIN GLOBAL is dedicated entirely to weaving and spinning. Everyone is invited to spin wool themselves and experiment on large and small weaving frames. Small animal figures or creative wall hangings: There are no limits to your creativity.
Instructors give practical tips on the technique with different types of wool and fabric and help you realise your own ideas. The finished woven pieces can be taken home.
The programme is also aimed at blind and visually impaired people. The instructors can cater to individual needs on site.
Guests at the Weltstudio Spezial:
Textile archaeologist Ronja Lau and Hand weaver Andreas Möller
